TheaterFor a long time I played theater, using circus skills and masks. You can still see these influences in my artwork. I like to tell little stories with my drawings, in which everybody can see their own story.
I create affordable artwork which brings a smile to your walls :-)
Red Cheeks stand for enthusiasm, but also for shyness and excitement. All recognizable emotions for me. I often have red cheeks while I’m working and also my characters have.
More often people began to ask, if my work is for sale. So a logical next step was to set up this Red Cheeks Factory shop. The shop is online since Oktober 2012.
In my work I use a lot handmade textures and scanned drawings combined with digital imaging to create little stories. I go for quality, so I only want to see my work printed on the best quality paper with the highest quality inks. That's why I bring them to a professional print studio.
